Can I purchase apparel store items at school?
All orders must be placed through the website at this time. The Oaks Academy Apparel Store is primarily curated with items sold through a 3rd party vendor who prints and ships each item directly to you when you place an order. This reduces the up-front cost to the school and provides a larger variety of products available for purchase.
A limited number of items may be ordered and available in limited quantities for local pickup at one of our campus locations. These items are noted in the product description and can be sent home with your student or available for in person pickup in the front office of your choosing. Please see directions in the specific product descriptions on how to order items available for local pickup.
Why am I getting a shipping error when I try to check out?
Some items sold are ordered in bulk and available for in-person pickup at one of our campuses only, while others are sold through a 3rd party vendor who prints and ships each item directly to you when you place an order. Items available for local pickup cannot be ordered with items from the vendor that will be shipped to you. Please place separate orders for items available for pickup (noted in the product description) and items shipped directly to you from our vendor.
Can I purchase school uniforms from the apparel store?
Apparel store items are not approved uniform pieces for wearing to school. You can find the full uniform policy on pages 12 – 13 of the Family Handbook. All plaid and monographed uniform items may be purchased through Schoolbelles on their website using school code S1667 or at their storefront. All other items may be purchased at other retailers that carry school uniforms or through Schoolbelles.
All schools have used uniform sales coordinated by our FTO groups. Make sure to join the FTO Facebook group(s) to meet the families at your campus and stay updated on upcoming FTO events.
What are my shipping options and how much does it cost?
We have factored the average flat rate cost of shipping into each item's price, therefore eliminating the direct shipping cost to you as the customer. Flat rate shipping may be handled via USPS, DHL, or FedEx and/or its affiliates based on estimated shipping time and cost.
How soon after I place my order should I expect it to ship?
All orders are typically fulfilled and shipped within 5-7 business days; however, some orders may take closer to 14 business days depending on seasonality and demand. You will receive a shipping confirmation as soon as your order ships.
How soon after my items are shipped will it arrive?
Shipping typically takes anywhere from 3-5 days within the U.S. and around 2 weeks internationally. Seasonality and shipping carrier differences may impact shipping times and delay them beyond our control. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Can I return my item?
Because each item is made to order specifically for you soon after the order is placed, we cannot accept any returns or exchanges. If you receive the wrong order or if your item is damaged upon arrival, please contact us so we can be sure you receive exactly what you ordered!
How do I care for my items?
While each item has specific care instructions in the product description, as a general rule we recommend washing each shirt inside out in cold water with like colors. Tumble dry on low/delicate heat. Do not iron decoration. Questions about specific items can be directed to communications@theoaksacademy.org.
